One of the distinguishing characteristics of motorcycle industry operators is the huge amount of data (price lists, models, etc.) which they need to handle, data which are often updated and altered even on a daily basis. We are talking MILLIONS of pieces of information, which in most cases cannot be managed manually but nevertheless are crucial for the effective operation of a Dealer’s or Workshop’s departments.

This is the scenario in which Soft Way operates and as well as supplying programmes ensuring the comprehensive management of the above data, Soft Way also offers data update services and officially distributes price lists, models, time schedules, etc. on behalf of the Manufacturers.

ARCO 2000
A management PC application working in a Windows environment, Arco 2000 has been specifically thought to meet the management requirements of those motorcycle industry Companies which operate in the sale or repair of vehicles and/or their parts, that is to say Agents, Part Dealers, Resellers and Service Centres. It contains functions dedicated to sales departments, warehouses, vehicle management and workshops or for the electronic connection with Manufacturers. It can be set up to operate within a local network and to interconnect different office addresses. Arco2000 is the most comprehensive version of the programme and is aimed at those Companies which require a complete management package.

ARCO MICRO
This product has been designed to meet the needs of the smallest set-ups or for those whose management requirements are limited to sales and workshop documents.

ELECTRONIC CATALOGUE
A graphic programme to be used in conjunction with one of the ARCO applications and whose purpose is that of displaying part tables in order to help users find the correct item codes. Indeed, it contains all those images which were previously found on paper catalogues or microfiches. Soft Way Electronic Catalogue’s great advantage is that it reunites on a single medium almost all the existing brands, offering a single operation procedure and interface for all the Companies with which the operator deals. The Electronic Catalogue is available on DVD and special WEB versions are also being developed.

DATA UPDATES
Soft Way has activated a data update service, designed to keep the data used by the above programmes up-to-date. Basically, each time a new price list is published or a new product catalogue becomes available, Soft Way updates the Customer’s installation by sending a DVD or, in some cases, via the Internet.

SERVER WEB
Soft Way has designed a specific data transmission system via the Internet which is now used by many Italian Manufacturers * . This system enables Manufacturers and Dealers to exchange information, such as send orders, make queries on product availability, send warranties and much more.
Having long since proven its value, the system is easy-to-install and low cost and can also be used by medium/large size Dealers wishing to exchange data with their sub-network.
