Arco 2000

A.R.C.O. is the acronym for Applicativo per Ricambisti, Concessionarie e Officine, the Italian equivalent of Application for Part Dealers, Agents and Workshops. The programme has been designed specifically for Companies operating in the marketing and maintenance of motorcycles and their accessories/parts and enables a comprehensive management of all related activities. A.R.C.O.2000 is the complete version in the A.R.C.O. range by Soft Way, it works in a Microsoft Windows environment, it is effective and easy-to-use and offers a large variety of functions designed to solve all management-related problems.

A.R.C.O.2000’s main functions include:
• Item information profiles * with possibility to choose from different print-out options (labels, price lists, positions, etc.).
• Customer information profiles with related print-out options (e.g.: index, labels, accounting data, etc.).
• Supplier information profiles with related print-out options (e.g.: index, labels, accounting data, etc.).
• Comprehensive management of purchase and sales discounts.
• Sales documents with possibility to create invoices directly from transport documents or amounts payable; it is also possible to request automatic invoicing from transport documents at the end of the month.
• Possibility to view sales and purchase statistics both by value or quantity, with easy-to-read charts.
• Customer orders with management of the entire order cycle up to completion.
• Supply orders with possibility to manage the entire order cycle up to completion and automatic rearrangement function.
• Warehouse management with possibility to manage several depots and create inventories using different valuation methods (average cost, weighed average cost, last cost, etc); the warehouse management function also enables users to make real time queries on stocks availability and print out item movement sheets.
• Comprehensive management of new and second-hand vehicles (with possibility to issue contracts); this function offers a variety of print-out options as well as several vehicle fleet query alternatives.
• Workshop documents with possibility to create quotes automatically from workshop data sheets and then convert them into sales documents.
• Electronic connection functions ** such as sending orders, sending and activating warranties, sending service documents, receiving stock receipt documents or making queries on stocks availability.

A.R.C.O.2000 can be interfaced with additional tools to make work even easier. For example, it can be connected with specific barcode readers, labelling machines or cash registers.

A.R.C.O.2000 can be installed in LAN network environments, enabling several users to work at once. Additionally, it can be set up to operate in a WAN network, using for example Microsoft Terminal services, making it possible to connect remote workstations (e.g.: different office addresses).

* Item information profiles are updated automatically through the DVDs sent regularly by Soft Way and the updates available on the web.

** Depending on the Manufacturer, it is possible to send orders, activate and send warranties and service documents, make queries on stocks availability and back orders or receive stock receipt documents and information on warranty status.
